Soon We’ll Have Another Highest Building
Today it seems like we have a constant competition in making the highest building in the world, so we’ll soon have another highest building, of course in China. Institute of Construction of China BSB (Broad Sustainable Building) will build the highest building in the world at highly competitive prices, from environmental materials and in record time of 90 days. They will build the Sky City Tower in Shanghai, in Hunan province. Tower in Shanghai will have 220 floors, it will be 838 meters high, and the works will commence in November 2012 and be ended in January 2013. Construction will cost 497.4 million euro. Building will be able to withstand strong earthquakes up to 9 on the Richter scale. Chinese construction company BSB that already built a hotel of 30 floors in just 15 days, is well-known for its competitive prices and construction speed as well as for usage of ecological materials. Construction of Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the current world’s highest building that is 828m high, cost 1.19 billion euro, and the Shanghai tower – 492m high (the highest Chinese building) cost also 1.19 billion euro.
