Places from Our Imagination Really Exist
It is undeniable that all of us thought, even only for once, that world of imagination we saw in some SF movie, or in a Disney movie is much better and more beautiful than the one we are living in. Luckily, we were all wrong. It turned out that in our world there are places looking like they just went out of a fairy tale. Here are some of them.
1. Hotel La Montaña Mágica, Chile
As its name (Magic Mountain) suggests, this hotel is made to look like a mountain with a waterfall falling from the top. It is located inside the protected nature park Huilo Huilo. This would be worth visiting.
2. A tunnel of love, Ukraine
The old rail tunnel in Kleven (west Ukraine) is surrounded by many giant trees. This place got its name because lots of lovers often use to come here, and true to be told, I can’t blame them.
3. Blue lagoon, Iceland
Despite the fact that this lagoon is a product of human hands, which proves that man can do more than just destroy nature around, the point here is in the heat of the water in geysers caused by a volcanic activity on the island. This place looks magnificent when the snow falls, which makes the whole picture completely unrealistic.
4. Ice Canyon, Greenland
Lots of ice canyons in Greenland exist thanks to volcanic activity, when hot water finds its way through the ice. I guess that all the pictures here show more than I can say, so just take a look… Beautiful!
5. Sea Pyramid, Pacific ocean
Ball’s pyramid, 562m high is the world’s highest geological formation of a kind. In fact, it is a remain of a volcano formed 7 million years ago! And it is still standing in the middle of the Pacific ocean.
6. Great barrier reef, Australia
This barrier reef is the biggest one in the world, and it is so huge that – believe it or not – you can see it from the outer space. It is especially popular among divers and tourists, and this Great barrier reef is a home for lots of endemic plant and animal species.
