Parrot AR Drone 2.0

Did anyone of you gadget lovers ever thought how cool it would be to have a robot pet who can fly? Of course you did. A new version of Parrot AR Drone 2.0 is arriving in the next few months with several improvements, and we are expecting to get one from our beloved friends for our birthday.

First of all it is very easy to control thanks to his quadcopter design, over the WiFi signal, with your iPhone, iPad or some of the Android Smartphones such as HTC Sensation. In front of his body is placed a 720p navigation camera (this is a new feature), which can record HD video capture, despite the fact that it’s serving his own master for flight.

New body structure is now reinforced, in downside of Parrot AR Drone 2.0 is placed a sensor camera which determines his speed, and now you can just point and fly to the area you chose, thanks to the new software auto-pilot. But this option is not only thing that makes this drone flying around. For his stability we have to blame a 3-axis accelerometer, a 3-axis gyroscope, a 3-axis magnetometer and a pressure sensor, with 2 ultrasound sensors and 4 blades specially designed for smooth flying.
