HAVVE FJELL was born in Norway 1970. Completed elementary school in 1985. Arrested for the first time in 1986. First conviction in 1987. Politicaly active anarchist 1986-2001. Discovered the talent for pain in 1991. First public performance as a fakir in Brazil 1991. Piercing artist 1992-1995 (one of the pioneers in Norway). Cultural activist 1992-2002. Founded Pain Solution in 1993. Guest student at the In-stitute of Scenic Arts at the University of Brasilia 1994. Runns the underground club and performance scene, M3 in Oslo 2000-2002. Co-produces and acts in Ringen, Norways, first contemporary circus production by Sirkus Xanti in 2001. Gallery debut with Quintet (5 body-sculptures) at Kunstnernes Hus in Oslo, 2002. Produces the first Oslo Body Suspension Festival 2002. Presents Sting (Stitches) at Galerija Kapelica in Ljubljana 2002. In November 2003 he published the book Ten Years of Pain.

I had a strong suspicion of it being HÃ¥vve and others…
Messed up? Not at all, it’s performance art. You might also want to look at BÃ¥rd A. Tangen. IIRC, I met him back in the mid 90′s just right after he and HÃ¥vve had played “put out the cigarette in each others overarms”. Me and BÃ¥rd hung around a bit together, but eventually lost contact. Also, the now legendary, for you who knows it, Norwegian travelling house & techno concept “XS to the ravezone (first party in 1991)” by Zone Productions, which Pain Solution Inc was affilliated with. Pregnant women lying on nail mats, rolling around in broken glass, attaching small weights to the torso as the blood runs and “swallowing” flames, that’s PS Inc for you. HÃ¥vve also featured on Norwegian national television in a rather untraditional talk show called “Blablabla” which ran a while back, hanging suspended by a couple of shark fishing hooks. This was indeed the days and I truly miss them.

First of all most of the pictures is not of HÃ¥vve Fjell.
And you can’t judge there performace just from these pictures.
I have seen several different shows from Pain Solution all from the hardcore stuff in the 90′s to the family and kids shows. They are all funny and entertaining shows! Check it out before judging!
