Emos aren´t usually shy, they are totally energetic, you can ask me or my friend, we communicate to “wrist-slicers”. anyways most of emos really dont slice their wrists or attempt suicide every other day. Emos are usually normal girls/boys wanting to stand out in the public masses.

Sorry but they’re not depressed or shy, or nearly as much as they claim. I have gone through serious depression where I questioned suicide a few times even though I’m Christian, and have social anxiety and I try my best not to stand out or even go in public. I make myself look happy all the time. As a matter of fact, back in my freshman and sophomore years before I was actually depressed or anything, I was trying the hardest to become “emo” because that was the new thing in. Now that I actually have “problems” I’ve really chilled the f**k out and have become a major nerd who hasn’t boughten any new clothes in a year and a half and sits on the computer the whole day. F**k these kids they don’t have s**t.

What’s mystifying about emo kids? You can take one look at them and tell EVERYTHING about them. From what bands they listen to, right up to their response to everything you’re about to say.

And shy? They dress like fucking sluts. What’s shy about that? I mean … Would a shy girl go out wearing short-short-short-shorts and a bra masquerading as a shirt?

As for smile … They do smile, a lot. Pity it’s a shallow “model’s smile”. It’s more of a bitchy or aggressive smile than a friendly one. It’s like a grin. Like a “I’m better than you because I’m a scene beauty queen and that makes me happy” kind of smile.

Emo is what happens when some shallow teenager wanting to be seen as “deep and mysterious” comes along and shits on your culture.

You, sir, do not know anything about Emo. Which was something that Punks called listeners of Emotive Hardcore. As an insult. No, they weren’t emotional, they were just people who were pretty much NORMAL and liked, hm, well as I said, Emotive Hardcore and dressed in casual clothes. Nothing special. Usually black clothes, of course, but not a little whiny fag. Theyir music wasn’t about drugs and sex and hating life and it wasn’t whiny or ‘screamo’ (which is just an excuse for not being able to sing), it was pretty mellow and had basic guitar rifts. No fucktarded hair, no raccoon makeup, just listened to Emotive Hardcore.

Does anyone realize that teen girls have been over emotional, vunerable and self conscious since before the whole “emo” fad came into existence? Its called nature.. it happens when girls go through puberty. Guys… they have been “taking advantage” of girls forever too.. in reality, girls are just horny, its just taboo to admit it.

Most of these girls have not went through any sort of trauma, people who do usualy can’t/ wont express it in any way and don’t want to stand out – I dont give a shit what you say about emo kids being “shy” and covering their eyes because of it, its a stupid phase, the eye makeup makes them look like panda bears and their hair like roosters, if your trying to hide your doing a pretty shitty job of it.

Anywho my point is “emo” is just another shitty fad, along with scene, and unlike the fads of the past these ones have no purpose. They are not anti distablishment, anti government, enviromental, or revolutionary in any other way. They are just attention deprived, narccistic douche bags who think they are entitled to our pitty because we aparently have nothing better to worry about.

I dated an “emo” once and I find the hair a little sexy but, (please don’t be offended) most of them are a little promiscious. They usually are the ones who have sex with almost everyone they date after 2 or more days. Though I do understand where they are coming from. Most of them probably had some childhood trauma making them uncappable of communicating properly and so they hide away from society because they feel judged by those around them. Most of them are very pretty and because of that, people treat them differently and have trouble talking to them, and so they think they are undesirable and unlikable. So before shunning them off for being different, think about who did this to them first?!

This is quite possibly the silliest thing I’ve ever read. Where is this information from. It can’t be from reality. Many of my friends look like this and it’s not referred to as emo but as “scene”. And trust me, none of them are sad. They are all quite energetic and outgoing. They crave attention.
