I think not only humans, but all creatures on the ground envy birds for their ability to fly. Many songs are written about humans wishing to fly, like “I believe I can fly” or “One day I’ll fly away” and many more. Up to now our best flying attempts are airplanes, and that’s not bad, but no one’s still speaking of people flying on their own.
