I think that even those who are not really interested in SW know that the Star Wars universe extends far beyond a mere few movies. Rather the universe spans across comics, video games and novels, which continue the saga of characters in the universe. These books cover events that happened before, during and after the films we’ve seen, and some contain stories that are even better than the movies. I grew up reading books like this, and I assume some of you may have as well. If that’s the case, you might recognize some of these illustrations from Hugh Fleming, who did a number of pieces found in many books over the last few decades. Man, I wish they made a Shadows of the Empire movie.
